Web-PACS Tele-Radiology is a Web-based Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Application/Software. Tele-Radiology is software used to interpret radiology images into a diagnosis, which is sent online and used by radiologists for faster diagnosis.
With a tele-radiology system, radiology services can be faster and become a solution to the limited radiology human resources in Indonesia. Where Indonesia consists of thousands of large and small islands, it can be the main destination for implementing tele-radiology.
Public health services in Indonesia still lack facilities and infrastructure as well as human resources, including services in the field of radiology. Therefore, technological breakthroughs and innovations are needed to overcome this. Indotelemed could be a technology that provides a solution to this problem.
Indonesia is an archipelago country where it is very possible that there is a need for Tele-Radiology as a facility to speed up Radiology services in several areas. With Tele-Radiology, Radiology services will be faster and more accurate. The concept of Web-based tele-radiology is to make it easier for radiology specialists to access DICOM imaging results and provide expertise directly wherever they are.
We have been build and developing Tele-Radiology since 2015, under the name Indoris Tele-Radiologi and Tele-Medicine (Copyrights Registration Letter No. C00201605353 dated 16 December 2016). This is the first tele-radiology software that we have built and developed. The features are still simple enough for the needs of radiology specialists. In 2020, we developed Tele-Radiology and Tele-Medicine with the name Indotelemed Tele-Radiology and Telemedicine (Copyrights Registration Letter No. EC002023132373 Dated 14 December 2023). In this version, the software is very well developed and equipped with features that suit the needs of radiology specialists. The GUI display is attractive and user friendly, making it easy for users to operate it.
Indotelemed was built and developed by Anak Bangsa, in other words, it is ORIGINAL made in Indonesia.
Features that can receive DICOM images from all modalities, Send expert results via Email, this can reduce film usage. Directly, hospitals can improve film costs. Of course, with this efficiency, hospitals will benefit greatly and can allocate these costs to other needs.
Therefore, we provide the best facilities for development in the radiology department by using the Indotelemed Web-PACS Tele-Radiology software facility. With the hope of overcoming the problem of the distribution of radiology specialist doctors in Indonesia.
